Release Notes

This release expands Detect to tax forms and utility bills by default, with a dashboard that puts the highest-risk findings first and more precise W-2 and pay stub state tax signals. Capture now support new flood insurance document types.

What's new?

Detect

Expanded default document coverage

Detect now runs by default on tax forms and utility bills, in addition to bank statements, pay stubs, and W-2s, with no separate request needed. Newly covered documents include Form 1040 and 1040-SR with Schedules C, E, and F; Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S with Schedules L, M-1, and M-2; Forms 940, 941, 2555, 4562, 4797, 4835, 6252, and 8825; Forms 1099-K, 1099-MISC, 1099-R, SSA-1099, and W9; and utility bills. Organizations already using Detect keep their current configuration.

Ocrolus algorithmic checks verify that captured values reconcile, such as income, tax, and refund totals on Form 1040. Resistant AI forensic analysis checks the file itself on any document type, including metadata, modification history, producing software, and signs of tampering. To learn more, see the Detect guide and Detect signals.

Detect dashboard improvements

Documents in a Book are now grouped by authenticity, with the highest-risk documents first, and opening a document goes straight to its lowest-scoring section. Signals start collapsed for High and Medium authenticity documents and expanded for Low authenticity documents. Each signal is labeled Algorithmic, Page, or Document to show its scope, page thumbnails separate risk findings from informational ones, and an info icon opens the Detect guide in the dashboard. To learn more, see Reviewing Detect signals.

Refined W-2 and pay stub state tax signals

W-2 and pay stub state tax checks now flag an issue only when the captured data clearly supports it, reducing false positives.
