Cash Flow Analytics
Enhancements to lender analytics download
Underwriters utilize Ocrolus’ Excel output in lender analytics download to access Cash Flow Analytics. The structure of the Excel download has been optimized to help underwriters quickly identify the metrics they care most about, including debt, expenses, and revenue. Now, you will find the two new tabs Debt and Revenue & Expenses in the lender analytics download. These easy-to-read tabs highlight the most salient debt and revenue metrics that lenders use for underwriting.
Analyze
Enhanced nonrecurring income calculation logic for self-employed borrowers
The logic for handling nonrecurring income and losses for self-employed borrowers is updated. The nonrecurring income or losses detected on {line_item}
in {form_type}
are excluded from the final income calculation logic for self-employed borrowers to provide a more conservative approach. Now, lenders can choose to include these values at their discretion and manually update the calculations accordingly.
Please collect supporting documentation for further decisions.
Key changes:
- Positive nonrecurring income: This amount will now be subtracted from the total (treated as negative).
- Negative nonrecurring income: This amount will now be zeroed out and excluded from the calculation.
This change applies to the following document types:
- 1040 Schedule F (Lines 5c & 8)
- 1065 (Lines 5, 6 & 7)
- 1120S (Lines 4 & 5)
- 1120 (Lines 8, 9 & 10)
